John Chao
Keating Asia, Inc.
| John joined Keating in
2007 and is responsible for Chinese origination. John has over ten years
of experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining Keating, he was
Senior Vice President at Valwin Int'l Investment Fund (China), focusing
on venture capital/private equity investments and IPOs. He acted as the
Special Assistant to the CEO of Master Kong (0322 HK), one of the
largest Chinese food and beverage manufacturers, and supervised its USD
200 million IPO in 1996. Additionally, he helped raise a significant
portion of a USD 30 million private equity fund for Grand Asia Asset
Management, a Taiwanese company, and acted as one of its investment
managers in the region of Greater China. He also held the position of
Chief Marketing Officer for the Taiwanese branch of Franklin Templeton,
a prominent American mutual fund group. John acquired his MBA degree in
Finance at Drexel University of Philadelphia, USA in 1990. |
