Keating Securities, LLC is a broker-dealer, FINRA member, and wholly owned subsidiary
of Keating Investments. Keating Securities' two principal activities are capital raising
and market making. We only raise capital for companies that we take public through an
IPO alternative.
Capital Raising
The market for micro-cap IPOs (where under $25 million of new capital is raised) has
been virtually shut since 2000. During the last few years, the combination of a reverse
merger and private placement (PIPE) has filled the IPO void. We typically raise $10-30
million in a PIPE simultaneously with a going public transaction and act as either a lead
or co-manager.
Market Making
As part of our turnkey solution, we make markets in the stocks of the companies we
bring public. Keating Securities' is one of approximately 225 remaining OTC
Bulletin Board market makers in the U.S. Our market maker ID is KTNG.
